These trios of films are projected during live performances of Orson Rehearsed as a staged work, and are also folded into the filmopera. The electro-acoustic music that accompanies these images is synchronized in performance with live orchestra and singers to create a composite fabric of sound. These “beats” offer listeners the opportunity to delve more deeply into the score’s visual and sonic worlds in order to hear details that may be missed during performances of the (live) theatrical and (projected) cinematic versions of the work.
